I took a discovery dive from Banda Dive Shop and loved it so much that I ended up getting my Open Water certification with them. Misael was my instructor and I can't recommend him highly enough. He was calm, thorough, and very kind. In the discovery class was me, an english speaker, and another woman who spoke Portuguese. He spoke both languages during class to make sure we understood. Everyone else in the dive shop was great, too. The owners, staff, and other dive guides were friendly and enthusiastic. When I passed my exam it was like a little party. Also, the dives were great. I saw many fish, sea turtle, rays, an eel, and beautiful coral.
